Mike Kimball is the CIO for Premier Mentoring and brings years of experience and knowledge to this growing company. His extensive background in business management, operations and information technology compliment and strengthens the IT Department at Premier Mentoring, and makes him a tremendous asset to the Executive Management Team. He oversees the planning and implementation of multiple information and communications systems and projects, including voice, data, imaging, and office automation. He covers a broad scope of responsibilities, including user-training programs, evaluation of system security and back up procedures. He also facilitates communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources within the company.
He received a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University. He also attended the Université Internationale De Gémeaux in France. His credentials include a CPA, CA, APICS, PMI, and other industry and technology designations. Prior to his work at Premier Mentoring, he founded a multi-national business operations consulting company, and worked at Ernst & Young, Ernst & Young International, and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young for 10 years. He has extensive experience working throughout the United States, Asia and Europe helping dozens of companies in a variety of industries. He has extensive experience working with “gazelle” companies. This is defined as high-growth, high-value companies. The clients he has worked with are a “who’s who” list of the most high-profile companies of the last decade.
Mike will play an important role in the continuing growth of Premier Mentoring. He loves this business because of the opportunities it provides in helping others improve their lives. His experience will ensure the company stays equal to the task in creating the best technology and information available to the participants, clients, and employees. Mike has been a noted speaker at various accounting and information system conferences; as well as received various awards during his career.
Mike fluently speaks Mandarin Chinese and has lived throughout most of Asia. He enjoys staying active in running, biking, hiking, skiing, and other outdoor activities. He has also run in over ten marathons and triathlons. He is most proud of his family and volunteers his extra time to his church and other organizations. He is a Founder and Board member of Sub4Santa – a non-profit organization that provides assistance to children of low income families.
