Quinn Kofford, Legal Counsel

Quinn M. Kofford is the in-house Legal Counsel for Premier Mentoring. He has been part of the Premier Mentoring Executive Team for many years. His high level of integrity, perspective on life and sense of humor make him a true asset to the leadership of the company. The talents and skills he has developed in his field, both in and out of the courtroom, have set the standard of truth, honesty and moral fiber for those whom he associates with.

Quinn graduated with a Juris Doctorate Degree from the J. Rueben Clark School of Law at Brigham Young University in 1992. In addition, he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brigham Young University. After graduation, he opened his own legal practice and represented many small to mid-sized business owners as in-house counsel. His emphasis was to make his services a “one stop shop” for the business owner. The relationship with Premier Mentoring began during that time, and he has grown with the company over the years. Today he enjoys his position as Legal Counsel and Executive Team Member. He is also a member of the Utah State Bar and is fluent in Spanish.

He was born and raised in California. His love of the mountains and “The Greatest Snow on Earth” brought him to B.Y.U. for his college education. The majestic mountains of Utah captured his heart and he has lived here ever since. He met his wife, Jana Lynn, during High School where they became very good friends. They later married and are raising their six children together. Because he loves to ski, he starts teaching his children at the tender age of three to ski as well; and he’s adamant that family time is his favorite place to be. Currently, he is also very “hands on” in the building and design process of a new home for his family.

Quinn is active in his church, has devoted time to the scouting programs and is involved in other volunteer service. He is often asked to speak to the youth about a variety of subjects, including the Constitution. It’s easy for him to relate with the youth because he says, “I’m really a kid at heart.” When the day is over and he has a little time to himself, he enjoys reading a good book.
